How to interpret this score
The calculator uses the simple average of the six dimension values, rounded to a whole number. It is an illustrative summary of the percentages you enter, not a scan of your files. Use measured results from your own quality rules instead of estimating a percentage from how reliable the data feels.
Make the comparison meaningful
Choose one dataset, period and business purpose. Record the rule and denominator for each dimension. If 950 of 1,000 assessed records pass a completeness rule, enter 95 for that measure. Keep the same scope when comparing later periods. Different rules or samples can change the result even when the underlying process has not improved.
Act on the weakest dimension
A high average can hide a critical failure. Review the individual dimensions, the affected business process and the consequences of an error. Agree an owner and one corrective action, then measure again. The colour bands are indicative priorities in this tool; they do not certify data quality, regulatory compliance or readiness for a particular AI use case.
