Purchase Terms

01.Available Products

IAGovernance.com sells downloadable digital products related to AI Governance, Data Governance, and GDPR compliance. The current catalog and prices are shown at /en/resources/. The applicable price is always the one shown on the product page and at checkout at the time of purchase, with applicable taxes shown before you confirm payment.

All products include the "IAGovernance.com Legal Notice and Limitation of Liability" document. Detailed descriptions, format and content of each product are specified on its product page at /recursos/.

02.Purchase Process

Purchases are made through Lemon Squeezy's payment and distribution system, which acts as Merchant of Record. The process is:

1. The user selects a product and clicks the purchase button.
2. They are redirected to Lemon Squeezy's secure checkout, where they enter their payment details.
3. At checkout, the user sees a summary of the terms of use (Purchase notes), and by completing the purchase expressly accepts these Terms and IAGovernance.com's Legal Notice.
4. Lemon Squeezy processes payment and sends an email confirmation with the download link.
5. The user can access their downloads via the link received by email.

The sales contract is finalized when Lemon Squeezy confirms payment to the user. Acceptance of the terms at checkout has the same effect as signing a written contract.

03.Prices and Taxes

Prices shown on the Website are expressed in euros (€). As Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy is responsible for calculating and applying applicable taxes (VAT or other) according to the buyer's country legislation, in line with the EU's One Stop Shop (OSS) regulation. The final price shown before confirming purchase includes the applicable tax.

IAGovernance.com may change prices at any time. Changes will not affect purchases already made.

04.Product Delivery

Products are delivered digitally and instantly. After payment confirmation:

• The user receives an email from Lemon Squeezy with the download link.
• Files are delivered as a compressed ZIP with all documents included in the product (PDF, Excel .xlsx, Word .docx as applicable).
• If there are access or download issues, users can contact contacto@iagovernance.com.
• The Interactive Web Roadmap is a free tool available at /roadmap/, no purchase required.

05.License of Use

Purchasing a digital product grants the buyer a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, internal-use license. The buyer may:

• Use and adapt the document for their own organization's needs.
• Share it internally with their team members and executives in the context of the compliance project.
• Present it to internal or external auditors of their own organization.

The following is expressly prohibited:

• Reselling, distributing, or transferring the product to third parties outside the purchasing organization.
• Publishing the content, in whole or in part, online or in other media without written authorization.
• Removing or altering credits or references to IAGovernance.com included in the document.
• Using the product as a basis to create and sell a derivative product of one's own.
• Sharing the Lemon Squeezy download link with third parties.

06.Limitation of Liability for Materials

The buyer expressly acknowledges and agrees that:

• Materials must be reviewed and adapted to their organization's specific situation before applying them.
• For situations with specific legal implications, advice from a technology compliance specialist lawyer is required.
• IAGovernance.com assumes no responsibility for regulatory penalties, financial losses, or damages of any kind arising from applying the materials without proper professional review.
• Interpretations of borderline Annex III AI Act cases contained in the materials are indicative and pending AESIA's definitive guidance.
• Materials correspond to the regulatory status as of the date indicated on each product and may become outdated as regulations change.

07.Material Updates

Purchased materials correspond to the version in effect at the time of purchase and do not include later updates. Regulation may change, so you should always check their content against the official text in force.

If IAGovernance.com publishes a new version of a material, it may offer it as a separate product; there is no entitlement to a new download or to free updates.

IAGovernance.com does not guarantee automatic or perpetual updates to purchased materials.

08.Refunds and Right of Withdrawal

To request a refund:

1. Send an email to contacto@iagovernance.com with the subject "Refund" and include your Lemon Squeezy order number, or contact Lemon Squeezy directly through their order portal.
2. IAGovernance.com will forward the request to Lemon Squeezy within 24–48 business hours if you contact us first.
3. Lemon Squeezy, as Merchant of Record, evaluates and processes each request at its own discretion, including the possibility of granting refunds within up to 60 days of purchase to prevent chargebacks, per its public policy.

IAGovernance.com does not guarantee that a refund request will be approved — the final decision rests with Lemon Squeezy as the legal seller of the transaction.

Under Article 103.m) of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 (TRLGDCU), consumers have no 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content not supplied on a tangible medium when performance has begun with their prior express consent and their acknowledgement that they lose that right once the download starts. This consent is requested during the purchase process. Any refund granted beyond this point is a courtesy from Lemon Squeezy, not a legal obligation of IAGovernance.com.

09.Payment Processor — Lemon Squeezy

Payment processing and digital product distribution are handled by Lemon Squeezy (A Maple Street Co., Inc.), acting as Merchant of Record. This means:

• Your purchase invoice will be issued by Lemon Squeezy, not by IAGovernance.com.
• Lemon Squeezy is responsible for tax management, payment disputes, and regulatory compliance for the transaction.
• Accepted payment methods are those available at Lemon Squeezy's checkout (credit/debit card, PayPal, and others depending on availability).

10.Personal Data Collected During Purchase

Data entered by the user at checkout (name, email, payment details) is processed by Lemon Squeezy as data controller for contract execution. IAGovernance.com may receive the buyer's email to manage the post-sale relationship (support, refunds, and, with consent, notifications about updates to purchased materials). IAGovernance.com's data processing is governed by the Privacy Policy.
